What to do with your dahlia tubers upon receiving them.

  • Inspect them immediately. If you have any concerns, please email us with clear photos within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Store them properly until planting. Tubers may be kept in their original packaging in a cool, dry place (ideally 40-50°F) until ready to plant.
  • Monitor moisture levels. Open the packaging occasionally to prevent excess moisture buildup, and check to ensure tubers aren’t drying out.

Dahlia Planting and Care

  • Plant tuber after risk of frost has passed and soil temperatures reach 50-60°F.
  • Plant tuber in full sun with well-draining soil.
  • We recommend staking tall or large blooming dahlia's, especially if you live in a windy climate.

Returns and Refunds

We are committed to providing high-quality tubers. However, if your tuber arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photos, so that we may assess the issue and assist you in resolving it. Due to the perishable nature of tubers, we are unable to accommodate refund or replacement requests outside of this 48-hour period. Please be aware that Dahlia tubers require time and patience to sprout, which can take up to 4-6 weeks. While we take every precaution to ensure the quality of the tubers upon shipment, factors such as planting conditions and local climate are beyond our control. As such, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for any issues that arise after this period. Given the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if you experience any concerns with your order, we encourage you to contact us directly—we are dedicated to ensuring you have a successful dahlia-growing experience.
